The Pinboard Clock

The Pinboard Clock is an interactive timepiece that comes with 12 drawing pins in green or white. These drawing pins are added to the clock by the user so they can create the minutes of their day... or perhaps pin something memorable under each hour. Check it out at samjohnsondesign.com

The Digital Clock T Shirt

The Giant Flip Clock

Yee Gods, it's alive! Every time the minute or hour changes on the Giant Flip Clock, the movable legs swing. This gives the impression that the clock is moving towards you, reminding you that time is marching onwards.

Moonbeam Clocks

If you're over having an annoying buzz or ring each morning, invest in a Moonbeam clock - and a gentle glow of light will wake you instead. First created in 1952, this clever clock has been illuminating early risers for decades (from llbean.com).

Tilting 'On-Off' Clock

Now, here's a little bit of clever. Clock sits flat - alarm goes off as programmed. Clock tilts to the right - alarm stops. We like it, but it would be veeeeery dangerous for us. The tilty mechanism makes it far too easy to turn the alarm off and drift back off to sweet, sweet dreamland.

We need the kind of alarm clock that goes off at 6am, then immediately bursts into a million pieces and has to be re-assembled MacGyver style before it turns off. Not that we don't greet every fresh new day at 6am with the joy and delight that it deserves. We just like MacGyver.

Check Tilty out at greenergrassdesign.com, it's available from 1 June.
